WordPress WooCommerce ecommerce
WooCommerce is a convenient and versatile choice when your goal is to sell products or services on a website. We implement WooCommerce-based ecommerce stores seamlessly into your WordPress website with years and dozens of ecommerce projects under our belt.
We’ve taken WooCommerce apart and reassembled it, so we know how it works and how to best bend the platform into the shape you need. The cornerstone of your online business will be a clearly structured online store that’s easy to navigate and provides a seamless shopping experience for your customers.
The technology behind it

B2C or B2B e-commerce for business
We carry out transactions for a single product or thousands of products for B2C or B2B target groups according to your needs. Whatever your situation, WordPress Woocommerce is an eCommerce platform that provides a straightforward way to get started with your online store. With Woocommerce, the store structure is designed to consist of modules that can be used flexibly on any page of your website. For example, a desired product listing can be imported into a popular blog article. The flexible platform allows you to easily develop your online shop according to your business requirements in the future.
B2B e-commerce also works well alongside consumer commerce. We also run separate reseller shops to support consumer network sales. The online store can be built behind a login and resellers can build their own functionality, such as order renewal and versatile delivery options.

Why WordPress Woocommerce is a good choice?
WooCommerce is widely recognised for its versatility. It can be used to sell physical products, services and even bookings. The platform comes with the most basic e-commerce features out of the box, with add-ons to extend and customise the store as required. WooCommerce is easy to integrate with the most common delivery and payment methods, and can be integrated with, for example, inventory management.

Woocommerce integration with external systems
All our online stores can be integrated with new or existing applications, such as delivery, warehouse, customer information or checkout systems. This often means importing product or customer data from another system or passing data from the online store to another system for accounting purposes. Integrations allow your online store data to move between systems fully automatically, saving you time and effort from manual work. We can also transfer product data from an old online service to a new one. The way the integrations are implemented is designed on a customer-by-customer basis and discussed together during the kick-off meeting. WooCommerce and WordPress offer versatile interfaces that allow for flexible and secure data transfer.

Versatile payment methods at your disposal
The WooCommerce e-commerce store itself does not include any payment intermediary services, such as online banking or credit card payments. We can implement any of the typically used payment systems that you would like to have in your online store. These include Paytrail and Klarna, which offer modern payment methods widely used in online shops.
Steam is Paytrail’s official expert partner
We are a reseller and official partner of the Paytrail payment service. Paytrail is the largest domestic online payment service in terms of payment volume, with a range of payment methods to suit every e-commerce customer. The online payment service works seamlessly for online shops selling both products and services.

How do you build ecommerce websites?
We build online stores on top of the WordPress publishing system with the free Woocommerce plugin. It allows you to set up your own online shop and sell products and services. WooCommerce is built to integrate seamlessly with WordPress and is currently the most popular e-commerce solution in the world. WooCommerce allows you to sell not only physical products but also digital services and products. WooCommerce is licence-free and your product and customer data is always located on your own server.
What are the benefits of using WooCommerce?
WooCommerce as an e-commerce platform is licence-free and does not include monthly or annual fees. One of the main advantages of WooCommerce is its customizability – as it is open source, it allows for further development and the creation of business-specific solutions. This could mean, for example, an online shop specialised in business sales. Thanks to the wide range of add-ons built for WooCommerce, there is an almost infinite number of pre-built add-ons available for your online store. This allows WooCommerce to be completely customised to your own online shop.
What is the difference between B2C and B2B ecommerce?
B2C (business to customers) is online shopping for consumers and B2B (business to business) is focused on serving business customers. The needs and requirements of business customers are often different from those of consumers. While consumer commerce is often focused on product sales, business commerce can be about ongoing orders, customer-specific pricing or customised offers, for example. On the business side, the payment method may be invoice only and the transaction may be restricted to a log-in. From a technical point of view, both can be easily and flexibly implemented with WooCommerce.
How much does a WordPress ecommerce website cost?
The cost of a custom WordPress ecommerce site varies depending on your needs and scope. If you need a basic store for product sales, the cost starts at around €5,000. This includes the basic functionality, where we put your company logo, colours and sales information. When you need a fully customised online shop for your business, for example for selling services, the price rises to around €10,000. You will find this out when you request a quote.
How long does it take to build an ecommerce website?
For a larger online store, it is a good idea to allow 3-5 months for implementation. The first month is spent on the technical definition of the online store and designing the user experience. This will ensure that your online store meets your business needs before a single line of code is coded. The next couple of months are reserved for active development, product data migration and store testing. If you already have a previous online store, we can automatically push your product data to the new store. Integrations and other more extensive ecommerce plug-ins add to the duration of the project and often a detailed technical definition before the project starts is in order.
What kind of ecommerce websites have you built?
We have done online sales for product sales, service sales and electronic application sales. Some have been B2C (consumer) and some B2B (business-to-business). The sectors have ranged from manufacturing companies to clothing retailers. We help you create intuitive, easy-to-use and memorable e-commerce solutions that make shopping a pleasant experience for your customers. A well-executed online store will generate new sales and bring your product catalogue online. We always tailor our online stores to your company’s brand and customer base to make the shopping experience as pleasant and smooth as possible.
