How much do websites cost?
The cost of a custom WordPress website will vary depending on your needs and the size of your site. If you need a basic site that is a “onepage” or has only a few pages, the cost starts at around €2,000. For a medium sized business website that includes multiple services and is designed around your business needs, prices start from €4,000 upwards. You should allow about ~3 months for the redesign of your company’s website. The first month is spent on definition, user experience and visual design. Can the websites you build be found in search engines?
One of the major advantages of WordPress is its inherent search engine friendliness. Its structural features, combined with quality content and properly implemented search engine optimisation practices, ensure that your website will rank high in search results and reach your target audience effectively. When we implement your site, it will have a clear page structure, be indexable by search engines and have the tools in place for search engine optimisation. We also aim to keep up to date with Google’s indexing changes. You can buy search engine optimisation or paid advertising as a service from us or do it yourself.
Do WordPress websites work on mobile devices?
Yes, they do. A large proportion of users browse websites mainly on their phone and we can take this into account. We implement all our websites responsively (scalable to devices) and some of them mobile-first (i.e. designed primarily for mobile devices).
Can I update the website you build myself?
WordPress is a very user-friendly website platform. While it is flexible and allows for the creation of a wide range of websites, it is also designed for those without a technical background. As part of the implementation, you will be trained on how to use it, which will allow you to easily edit the content of your website, add new pages and functions.
We pay attention to the ease of updating the content and the management of the whole. Users can easily change images, update text and add new sections without any programming skills. They can also easily manage the different elements of the site by dragging and dropping. This allows for easy editing without the need for special technical skills.
Are there license fees for WordPress websites?
No, the basic version of WordPress, WordPress.org, is open source software, which means you can download, install and use it for free without paying any fees. However, there are a number of costs that may be associated with using a WordPress site:
Web hosting: although the WordPress software itself is free, you will need a web hosting and a domain name to make your site available online. These incur annual or monthly costs.
Themes and plug-ins: while there are many free themes and plug-ins, some premium themes and plug-ins are sold and may incur costs.
Maintenance services: if you are unwilling or unable to maintain your site yourself, you may need external help, which may incur additional costs.

In 2011, he started as a project manager at an advertising agency, and over the years his role has covered everything from lead generation to preparing proposals and planning content. At Höyry, Sami is also responsible for the company’s administration.

Creative director or creative generalist. As an entrepreneur, my role is to lead the creative process and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Sometimes I’m the one digging, sometimes I’m leaning on the shovel explaining exactly where to dig. I started my career as a graphic designer in 2004, and my path toward becoming an entrepreneur at Höyry began in 2013. Brand design, digital marketing, and developing customer-oriented web services have always been particularly close to my heart.
