User-friendly websites

We are implementing the reforms in two main ways. This is often related to the content of the site, i.e. who is responsible for the texts on the site and where the images come from. Either the client provides the content or we produce the content together. In both cases, we take responsibility for everything else. We manage the project, design and implement the site, take care of the technical functionality and ensure that the site is ready for publication on time.

We have a process for design, implementation, testing and release, and at each stage you know what happens next and what is needed from you. The price typically does not include separate paid third-party services, nor extensive description or integrations unless specifically agreed. We make sure that the overall package remains transparent and comparable.

During the project, we need two things from you. The first is to comment on the drafts and the implementation at the agreed points, so that we can move forward without guesswork. The second is to provide the necessary materials and background information, such as existing logos, brand guidelines, images and information about services.

You can supply the text content yourself, unless it is a turnkey project where we are responsible for the content. The larger the site, the more time the content will take, as texts are rarely created “in one go”. If you don’t have the time or inclination to produce the content yourself, we can handle the content production as a separate job.

It’s worth considering at the outset whether you want a turnkey implementation and whether you really have the time to produce content during the project. This will have a direct impact on the schedule and how smoothly the project progresses.

The website is installed on the server of the customer’s choice. We can recommend tested and working WordPress optimised servers, such as Seravo. We are a partner of Kinsta hosting service in Finland and we sincerely recommend it to our clients. Kinsta is a modern and fast WordPress optimized server with automatic backups and a separate development environment. The server is located in Finland or Sweden.

We hold the root user IDs for the sites we implement and you will receive them as the site owner upon request and, if you give us permission, we may also share them with others.

Search engine visibility is preserved by ensuring that the most important things on the site do not change in the wrong direction in the eyes of the “search engine”. The easiest way is to keep the URL structure unchanged, because then old links and pages already established in search results will continue to function without interruption. At the same time, care is taken to ensure that the content and titles of important pages retain their relevance, and that effective content is not lost or truncated so that it no longer matches what visitors are looking for. When the basics are in place on a new site, the pages work quickly and old addresses are correctly redirected to potential new pages, visibility tends to remain stable and often improves as time goes on.
